When we launched the inner circle the aim we had was not just help the players but also help educate coaches as well
And we have a few belters in the group that are doing great things
Which is why its so good when we hear that one of them has been awarded for all their hard work
Joe Kinsey, a coach in Derbyshire, got voted as Derbyshire coach of the year last week at a ceremony and it made us very proud of him
Even mentioned his attention to detail in physical conditioning in the award nomination
And here is what Joe had to say
On Saturday 26th October I was lucky enough to be invited to an ECB Awards Ceremony to collect an award for Coach of the Year (Derbyshire) along with other county winners.
This was in recognition of my coaching and contributions to cricket.
I was nominated by my club and then Derbyshire select a winner.
Upon accepting the award I received a copy of my nomination which was nice to read.
Here is a line from it;
‘Strength and Conditioning has played a huge part to ensure players are equipped with the best skills to be the best they can be’.
Considering I knew nothing about S&C a few years ago I think it’s fair to say that Cricket Strength, Ross and Steff, have played a huge role in not just educating myself (and countless others) but impacting their passion for this field upon me.
So good to read
When we started cricket strength it was to try and make a difference to the guys who didn’t have access to the top level coaching, and this is showing us that we are
Joe is a very innovative coach and always asking questions and has absolutely zero ego about him which is fantastic
And he will help produce some fine cricketers im sure
Its great to know we have helped in a small way
And if you need some help then come join us in the inner circle here https://cricketstrength.lpages.co/membership-inner-circle/
